In a first, statue of Gopabandhu Das unveiled at Delhi

President Droupadi Murmu unveiled the statue of Utkalmani Pandit Gopabandhu Das at the Lajpat Bhavan premises in New Delhi on Monday. This is the first time an Odia personality got a statue in the capital. The 52-kilogram bronze-and-copper sculpture honours his legacy of selfless service, education, and deep national patriotism.
