{Centre in Lok Sabha} Over 60L unorganised workers from Punjab registered on e-Shram portal

Over 60 lakh unorganised workers from Punjab registered on the e-Shram portal as of July 14, 2026. Union minister Sushri Shobha Karandlaje said the nationwide drive reached 31.82 crore registrations. Ludhiana recorded the highest enrolment in the state, while agricultural workers formed the largest group of beneficiaries across the region.
