Article 370 Anniversary: NC Declares Aug 5 'Black Day'; Cong, PDP to Protest

The National Conference will observe August 5 as a black day to mark the 2019 abrogation of Article 370. Rattan Lal Gupta said the decisions "stripped the people of their constitutional safeguards." The Congress and PDP also planned protests in Jammu to demand the restoration of statehood for the region.
