Will do what's needed in national interest: India after Pak deploys 250 Howitzers

India said on Tuesday it would do "whatever is necessary" to safeguard national interests after Pakistan deployed 250 Chinese-made SH-15 howitzers along the border. MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said, "We will do whatever is necessary in our national interest." India remains prepared to respond to any threat from its neighbor.
