Hero of Kerala floods gives away life jacket, dies trying to save drowning farmer

R Rajesh, a 36-year-old instructor, died saving a farmer from floodwaters in Kerala’s Kannur district on Sunday. He gave his life jacket to 61-year-old Benny before the strong current swept him away. Chief Minister VD Satheesan said, "His ultimate sacrifice and selfless love for humanity will forever be remembered."
