Kozhikode saw a brief break from heavy rain on August 4, but an orange alert remains for August 5. The district received 257.4 mm of rain since August 1. Sadly, 38-year-old Suhail died after he fell into floodwaters. Currently, 808 people are staying in 18 relief camps across the district.
