Rupee rises for 6th day, gains 12 paise to 95.31 against U.S. dollar as crude drops

The rupee rose for the sixth day, gaining 12 paise to 95.31 against the U.S. dollar on Monday. This happened as global crude oil prices fell sharply. Forex traders said FII inflows and gains in domestic stock markets also helped the local unit. The currency rebounded after tensions eased in West Asia.
