Market wrap: TCS, IndiGo, Sun Pharma among top gainers and losers on Nifty and Sensex on Monday

Indian benchmark indices surged on Monday as easing crude oil prices boosted investor sentiment. The Sensex jumped 544 points, while the Nifty climbed 1.6%. TCS, IndiGo, and Infosys led the gains, adding nearly Rs 5 lakh crore to BSE market capitalisation. Meanwhile, Sun Pharma and Apollo Hospitals fell during the session.
