A fund manager reveals the latest in passive investing trends

Indian passive investing is moving beyond broad indices as investors now use index products for specific views. During 2026, products tracking Midcap and Smallcap indices attracted over ₹11,600 crore. Investors also put ₹4,200 crore into Information Technology funds, showing they prefer targeted growth over simply buying the entire market today.
