Tax break for electronics suppliers to be extended till 2041 under new Taxation Bill

The Centre moved to extend tax exemptions for foreign electronics suppliers until 2041 under the Taxation and Other Laws (Amendment) Bill, 2026. Finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman tabled this in Parliament on Tuesday. The move aims to boost investment and help India grow as a major global hub for electronics production.
