Air India carried over 1,000 tonnes of mangoes this summer. The airline transported more than 3,300 tonnes of fresh fruits and vegetables between March and May. London was the biggest export destination. "Transporting over 1000 tonnes of mangoes in just three months reflects both the scale of demand," said Ramesh Mamidala, head of cargo.
