The here and now of a 'forever war' period

A study by the Peace Research Institute Oslo found that direct inter-State conflicts doubled from two in 2023 to eight in 2025. This is the highest number since 1946. These wars are growing at an alarming rate, proving to be intractable as humanity moves away from a stable global order.
