NEET-UG shift to computer-based testing under active consideration, Centre tells SC

The Education Ministry told the Supreme Court on August 4, 2026, that shifting NEET-UG to computer-based testing is under active consideration. The government said, “The Union of India also remains committed to providing candidates with adequate advance notice of any change.” Officials will consult the Health Ministry before making final decisions.
