LIVE: Lok Sabha to Take Up Banking, Tax Bills Today

The Lok Sabha will take up The Bankers' Books Evidence Bill, 2026 and The Taxation and Other Laws (Amendment) Bill, 2026 on Wednesday. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will move these bills to update digital banking and tax laws. Meanwhile, opposition members moved adjournment motions regarding anti-defection laws and student protests.
