DMK Cadre Assault Commuter Amid Road Blockade Protests in Tirunelveli

DMK cadre assaulted a two-wheeler-rider during a road blockade in Tirunelveli on Tuesday. The party staged statewide protests against the arrest of Udhayanidhi Stalin, causing traffic jams. Police detained MLA Abdul Wahab and other protesters. Deputy commissioner Saravanan said, "Legal action will be initiated against those responsible for causing inconvenience."
