Pathanamthitta first in line for advanced disaster resilience network after floods: CM Satheesan

Pathanamthitta will be the pilot location for an advanced disaster resilience system after four days of devastating floods, Chief Minister V D Satheesan said on Tuesday. The government plans to install rain gauges and early warning tools. Officials also promised Rs 10,000 to every flood-affected household for cleaning their homes.
