Pakistan deployed 250 China-made SH-15 howitzers along its border with India to boost military strength. These truck-mounted systems fire NATO-compatible ammunition up to 50km. This move follows India’s May 2025 Operation Sindoor. Pakistan’s army chief Asim Munir said the relationship between Beijing and Islamabad is "unique, time-tested, and has remained steadfast."
