52-yr-old woman swept away after flash flood in Kupwara

A 52-year-old woman, Naseema Begum, died after being swept away by flash floods in Kupwara on Monday. Multiple cloudbursts triggered heavy flooding across the valley, damaging houses and fields. Meanwhile, the Srinagar-Jammu National Highway closed at 5 pm as heavy rains made the road surface extremely slippery and muddy.
