RBI holds repo rate at 5.25%: 5 assumptions about EMIs, FD rates and inflation salaried employees shouldn't make

The RBI kept the repo rate unchanged at 5.25% on Wednesday for the fourth consecutive review. Adhil Shetty said, "Borrowers expecting an immediate reduction in EMIs may have to wait a little longer." The central bank raised its FY27 growth forecast to 6.7% but warned that global price pressures remain.
