NHPC Q1 profit rises marginally as higher power generation revenue lifts operating performance

NHPC reported a 2.9% rise in net profit to ₹1,095.87 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2026. Revenue from operations grew 18.5% to ₹3,808.31 crore. The company got a boost from better operating efficiency, as EBITDA margins expanded to 61.8%, showing that higher power generation helped lift its overall performance.
