MCG yet to find Bandhwari landfill alternative despite NGT deadline

The Municipal Corporation of Gurugram is yet to find an alternate site for the Bandhwari landfill despite an August 4 NGT deadline. Joint commissioner Preetpal Singh said, "The exercise is still underway. A final decision has not been taken yet." Officials said they are still checking locations to avoid public opposition.
